Laudamus are delighted to have been invited for the second year to sing choral evensong at St Laurence’s Church, Downton to launch their annual Christmas Festival.  All are welcome.

Laudamus were warmly welcomed at Bath Abbey in May and had a wonderful time singing the services over a busy bank holiday weekend. We hope to return when their exciting project is complete. You can’t see it in this photograph but work was well underway at the east end.

The Hobkirks are returning to host the annual Laudamus Quiz Night.  Come and try your wits against the fiendishly clever questions from our favourite quiz masters.

Laudamus will be giving their annual winter concert at Rockbourne Village Hall on Sunday, 3 December.  Tickets available in advance or on the door.  Proceeds to be shared with Rockbourne Parish Church.

Laudamus, a non-auditioned chamber choir, is looking to recruit new members for all parts.  We have a wide repertoire of religious and secular music to sing at both services and concerts.  We organize regular social events throughout the year as well as popular Come and Sing days.

In addition to learning new repertoire attention is paid to vocal technique and blending of the ensemble to produce a distinctive, rich and vibrant sound.

We rehearse on Monday evenings between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm at St Mary’s Church, Fordingbridge.  Potential singers are welcome to come and take part in a rehearsal before making a commitment to join.  For further information please contact us through the website contact tab.
